Accessibility statement
Last updated October 2026. This website is intended to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.
The standard we aim for
The site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard referenced by UK public sector rules and widely used internationally.
What this means in practice
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip straight to the main content.
- Text and essential graphics meet the AA colour contrast ratios. Persimmon is used only for decorative bars and markers, never for text.
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and labels, so screen readers can navigate them.
- Photographs carry text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have visible labels, explain what went wrong when a field needs attention, and announce confirmation messages.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are switched off and every page shows its finished state. The moving pipeline illustration on the home page also has a pause button.
- Pages work at up to 400% zoom and on small screens, without content being lost.
Known limitations
The home page headline is animated when the page first loads. It runs once, lasts about two seconds and does not flash. If you notice anything that makes the site harder to use, please tell us.
Reporting a problem
If you find an accessibility problem, or need information on this site in a different format, email ajoke@ajoketella.com. Please include the page address and a short description of the issue. We aim to reply within five working days.
How this statement was prepared
This statement is based on a review of the site against WCAG 2.1 AA during its design and build, including keyboard, contrast, screen reader structure and reduced-motion checks. It will be reviewed when the site changes significantly.
