Where it goes
Form submissions are passed to Ajoke's email inbox through Netlify Forms, which acts on Ajoke's instructions under a data processing agreement. Insights sign-ups are also collected through Netlify Forms. If a dedicated newsletter service is later used to send insights, this notice will be updated to name it before any email is sent through it.
International transfers. Ajoke works between the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and service providers may store data in other countries, including the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, the European Economic Area or Nigeria, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the transfer conditions in the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
How long it is kept
Enquiries and invitations are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for no more than two years if no work follows. Insights subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. If you work together, records are kept for as long as the law requires for contracts and accounts, usually six years in the UK.
How it is protected
The website is hosted by Netlify, which processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver the site and protect it against misuse. Every connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to enquiries is limited to Ajoke and protected by strong passwords and two-step sign-in.
Cookies and visitor statistics
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. Plausible does not set cookies, does not collect personal data and does not follow you across other websites, so no cookie banner is needed.
